Community Folkdancing: April 4th, May 2nd, June 6th
Monthly Dance Workshop with Downeast Folk Dancers
7 - 9pm at the MDI YWCA, 36 Mount Desert Street, Bar Harbor
$10 Admission
The Kotwica Band will play music from the Baltic to the Black Sea and beyond. March's dance will focus on Macedonian music, featuring intricate rhythms and harmonies. We'll even do the Macedonian "bunny hop"!
Dance teaching will be at 7:00-8:00pm and request dancing 8:00-9:00 will be led by experienced dancers. Learn dances from Armenia, Bavaria, Brittany, Bulgaria, Croatia, Greece, Hungary, Macedonia, Poland, Romania, Serbia, Sweden, and Ukraine. No experience and no partner is needed.
