Up Next: Polish Dances
The Downeast Folk Dancers invite you to join them for a celebration of May Day with Polish circle and couple dances. Learn waltzes, polkas, mazurs, and even a polonaise, a kujawiak and an oberek. The highlight of the evening will be a traditional maypole dance. Music by the Kotwica Band with dance teaching by David and Carolyn Rapkievian - no experience needed. Learn the dances or just come to enjoy the music. Saturday, May 3rd, 7:00-9:00pm at the YWCA 36, Mt. Desert Street, Bar Harbor. Admission is $10 at the door.
